Robertson County has a lot of what makes rural Middle Tennessee great — good farmland, room to breathe, and a growing number of families looking to build rather than buy something that doesn’t fit their needs. I’m Milton Yoder, and my family has been building post-frame structures, barndominiums, and custom homes across this region for four generations.
From the farms around Adams to the newer growth in Greenbrier, we’ve built shops, homes, and barndominiums throughout this county. We know the land, the local permitting process, and how to build something that holds up to Tennessee weather.
Services We Offer in Springfield and Robertson County
Pole barns and shops. Whether you need equipment storage, a workshop, or a barn for livestock, we build post-frame structures sized and engineered for how you actually use them.
Barndominiums. Robertson County has plenty of acreage suited to a post-frame barndominium — open floor plans, tall ceilings, and a lower cost per square foot than traditional construction.
Custom homes. We build fully custom traditional homes designed around your land and your family.
Remodels. Additions, updates, or finishing out existing space — we bring the same standard to remodel work as new construction.
Why Post-Frame Construction Makes Sense Here
Post-frame uses large posts set deep into the ground on wide spacing instead of a continuous foundation studded every 16 inches. Less material, faster construction, and a structure that stands up against wind and the clay soil common throughout this part of Tennessee.
Serving Springfield and the Surrounding Area
We build throughout Robertson County including Springfield, Adams, Greenbrier, Cedar Hill, and Orlinda, as well as areas bordering Montgomery and Cheatham Counties.
Four Generations, One Standard
My great-grandfather Simon Yoder established the first Amish settlement in Todd County, Kentucky, in 1958, just up the road from here. Four generations of Yoder craftsmen have built in this region since. “One Builder. One Standard. Built to Last.” is the standard we were raised on.
We’re a family-owned business, not a franchise. I answer the phone myself, come look at your property, and stand behind the finished job.
